Salve! Sumus Winchester Latin Club!
We are from Winchester High School located in Winchester, MA (go Sachems!)
We are super excited that you are interested in learning more about our awesome club! This year is our thirteenth year and we are as strong as ever!!! We do typical Latin-y things (spreading our collective love of Latin, preparing for Kickoff, Classics Day, and the annual state convention, Certamen) along with other more unconventional Latin stuff. Outreach and community service are integral pillars of our club, as we tutor elementary schoolers at St. Charles every month, make cards for hospitalized kids, and participate in community service events such as clothing drives and Winchester's annual Relay for Life event.
We meet every Wednesday alternating between before and after school in Mrs. DeCamp's room (B106); click on our Calendar page for specific times. If you have any questions about Winchester JCL, please don't hesitate to talk to Cate Kneebone, president, Mrs. DeCamp, our wonderful advisor, or email latinclubwinchester@gmail.com.
